What if education could be more than lessons, assignments, and test scores? What if its greatest purpose was helping young people discover their genius, develop their abilities, and prepare for lives of meaning and purpose?
With more than 30 years of teaching experience, a master's degree in Education, and a teaching credential, I've worked with learners in a variety of educational settings. I've also spent more than 20 years homeschooling my five sons, giving me a unique perspective on how learning happens both inside and outside the classroom.
Through these experiences, I've come to believe that the most powerful learning happens when we move beyond simply delivering information and begin cultivating human potential.
Through my books, speaking, and coaching, I invite parents and educators to explore new possibilities for teaching, mentoring, and learning—approaches that inspire curiosity, develop character, and cultivate future leaders.

A Lifelong Passion for Learning, Leadership, and Human Potential
For more than 30 years, I've worked with students and educators in a variety of learning environments, from universities and community colleges to private schools and charter programs. I've also spent over 20 years homeschooling my five sons, giving me a unique perspective on education both inside and outside the classroom.
With a master's degree in Education and a teaching credential, I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to my work. As Director of Operations at the Leadership Education Mentoring Institute (LEMI), I help equip mentors with the principles, skills, and resources to inspire young people and develop future leaders.
Today, as an author, speaker, and mentor of mentors, I'm passionate about sharing these principles with those ready to rethink education and carry this work forward.
